Solid Grade Laminate (SGL), often called compact laminate, is an incredibly durable, thick, waterproof panel material manufactured by compressing phenolic resin-impregnated Kraft paper under high heat and pressure. It is self-supporting, non-porous, and resistant to water, impact, and vandalism. Due to its strength and hygiene properties, it is extensively used for high-traffic washroom cubicles, changing room lockers, wall cladding, and vanity units.
